Huntington Gardens
Photos from many trips to one of the prettiest places in Southern California, The Huntington Gardens, part of the The Huntington Library, Art Collections and Botanical Gardens. It is an educational and research institution established by Henry E. Huntington in San Marino, in the San Rafael Hills near Pasadena, California. The property covers 207 acres, of which approximately 120 are landscaped and open to visitors. More than 14,000 different varieties of plants are showcased in more than a dozen principal garden areas. Forty gardeners, a curatorial staff of seven, and more than 100 volunteers maintain the botanical collections and provide interpretive programs for visitors. Thanks guys, you do a wonderful job!
